The Princeton/Pettoranello collection was established in 1992 when a delegation from Pettoranello / Princeton's Sister City donated hundreds of books to the Princeton Public Library. The collection contains volumes about Pettoranello, The province of Molise and other parts of Italy.

Since 1992, the Foundation has made annual contributions which have enabled the library to purchase videotapes, DVDs, language learning audiotapes, CDs, as well as magazines and books.

When the new library was built, the Foundation donated $25,000 for the creation of a study center. Designated the Princeton Pettoranello World Languages Center, this room, which is located on the second floor, provides quiet study space where Princetonians of all ages can utilize extensive world language materials.
